PEOPLE have thrown their support behind a campaign to tackle Liskeard’s seagull menace, due to be discussed at a town council meeting tonight.

Judy Ransley, who says the life of residents in the Lake Lane area is being made ‘pure misery’ by seagulls, wants the council to reinstate deterrents and either sterilise eggs or replace them with dummy eggs during the spring.

Liskeard Town Council is to discuss the situation at a meeting of the facilities committee today, at 7.30pm in the Public Hall. The public are welcome.
