Years of hard work came to fruition when Harrowbarrow School held the official opening of their new early years classroom. Governors have been trying for years to secure funds to replace a dilapidated temporary classroom. The new classroom has been designed to enable easy access to the outdoor area which will be developed over the summer term, with support from the Parent Staff Association, Travis Perkins and several of their suppliers. Former early years teacher Louise Marsh was invited to cut the ribbon in front of staff, pupils, parents and governors. The event concluded a successful six months at Harrowbarrow School, which had a very successful Ofsted inspection in the autumn term. Picture: Paul Hamlyn
