PARENTS have started an online petition over a school's decision to shut its car park.

Looe Primary Academy told parents last month that for safety reasons the gates would be shut during peak times.

This week the petition had gathered more than 80 signatures. Parents behind the campaign say they plan to present it to the board of governors at a meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
