A STUDENT at Cornwall College has secured a book deal with a story about supernatural Cornwall. Adrian Martin, who is studying the English, literature and creative writing diploma at Saltash, has signed a four-year deal with Crooked Cat Publishing. The 37-year-old started writing during a tour of duty in Kosovo; he used it as a form of relaxation and escapism from the pressures of conflict. After leaving the Army he became a long distance lorry driver and he penned his novel ‘The Helland Reckoning’, which is the title secured by Crooked Cat, in the cab of his truck.
