about Waterside

AT the recent Saltash Partnership meeting, town clerk Marilyn Small gave details of a public meeting about phase two of Saltash Waterside development.

The meeting will be held on January 22 at Saltash Sailing Club, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

The Partnership has also received no information about the the old gasworks site at the Waterside, but the meeting suggested that a letter should be sent to Lattice Property Holdings informing them of the Partnership's suggestions for the site.

Quiz night for

jubilee funds

A QUIZ night will be held on Friday, January 11, at the Rodney Inn, Saltash, starting at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.

Teams of up to four members are asked to book in advance, costing £5 a team. Call (01752) 845434 to reserve a place.

Proceeds will be for the jubilee celebrations in June.

Lights to be

switched on

FORDER'S carol service will be held on Saturday, December 22, at 6.30pm when the Christmas lights will be switched on.

Father Christmas will arrive with presents for local children and mince pies and mulled wine will be served after the service.

Dancers hold

fashion show

THE women's tap group of Celia Blagdons School of Dance held a fashion show at the Masonic Hall to raise funds for cystic fibrosis.

Mrs Richards of Marianne's Fashions lent the clothes and was the compere for the evening.

The women modelled the clothes and the evening raised £250.
