Topical teaching
SALTASH New Life Church is hosting a weekend of topical teaching on events in the world today at St Stephens County Primary School in Long Park Road, Saltash on December l and 2.
International Bible teacher, the Rev Roy Eccleston, will be teaching on December l at 7pm and December 2 at 11am and 6.30pm. All are welcome and seats are free.
Coach trip
SALTASH Liberal Democrats are organising a coach and shopping trip to Truro and the Mousehole lights on December 16.

Choir sing Elijah
AN augmented choir from Saltash and district sang the oratorio 'Elijah' on Saturday at Saltash Wesley Church.
The soloists were Bronwen Davies (soprano), Christine Liddicoat (contralto), Charles Westlake (tenor), Brian Green (bass) as Elijah and Morwenna Pestell. Others taking part were: in the trio 'Lift Thine Eyes', Rebeca Elias-Jones, Anna Dunford and Charlotte Snooks, and in the quartet 'Holy, Holy, Holy', Bronwen Davies, Christine Liddicoat, Claire Fielding and Grace Way. David Crocker was the organist and Sue Davis the pianist.
Band concert
SALTASH band, Caught by the Fuzz, are playing at Saltash Rugby Club tomorrow, starting at 9pm.
