THE Band of the Devon and Cornwall Police played a packed concert at Saltash Wesley Church in aid of the Sue Hooper charitable foundation.

Directed by Keith Whittal, who was also the compere for the evening, the concert began with a rousing march and then a selection from Hans Christian-Anderson. Special guests, Beckie Elias-Jones and Neil Bailey, were accompanied by Sue Davis on the piano as they sang songs from the Phantom of the Opera. After 'Hey Jude' the Corps of Drums marched into the hall and joined the band to play 'the Great Escape' and 'Voice of the Guns'. The concert ended with 'Devon and Cornwall'.
