Talking of Christmas
SALTASH Civic Amenities committee met last week, with the future of the Christmas celebrations discussed.
Members of the Chamber of Commerce had said in future new lights will soon be needed, so ways of raising money will need to be debated. The switch-on of lights for this year will be on December 3.
The proposed youth shelter at Warfelton will be discussed and reviewed at a future date.
Councillors are concerned about the allotments in New Road, and these will also be reviewed in the future.
