After a successful Saltash Festival of Arts was held last year, there is to be another one next month.
While previously the festival has taken place over a week or two weeks, this year the many events will be packed into the two days of Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27.
It is being organised by Jill Male. Included in the programme will be exhibitions with clothes, paintings, quilting, lace-making, woodwork, a treasure trail, weaving, patchwork, acrylic demonstration, face painting, shaving foam decoration on cards, embroidery and a photographic display.
There will also be music around the town, including cello and voice, music on the mandolin, songs you will remember, and old favourites.
Other musical interludes will include performances by Barbershop Harmony, and a wartime lunch with music and Dad’s Army characters.
