THE Saltash Christmas Festival which lasted throughout Saturday culminating in the town’s annual lantern parade, had to wrestle throughout with biting gale force winds, but large crowds still turned out to enoy the seasonal atmosphere.
Shopkeepers offering mulled drinks and mince pies and hot food stalls helped to add some warm cheer to the cold day.
