The in house derby at SWMC saw the B team after every point in their quest for league honours. They gained a good 7-3 victory. The B team started well taking all three team games and then four singles through Albert Harris, Dennis Briggs, Len Walsh and Ted Maton. The A team won three through Roland Chapple, Bill Trott and Mark Chant. Present leaders Rodney A played host to the useful Rising Sun side and took the team games 2-1 and then five singles through Paul Ferris, Peter Jameson, Norman Yarde and Mike and John Fluhrer. Rising took just two through Peter Lee and Andy May going down 7-3.

Second place Rodney B visited Ploughboy and had to come from behind to win 6-4, thus dropping into third place. Notter Bridge kept up their recent good run with a convincing 7-3 win over visitors Brunel Lads. Callington CC in fourth place kept up their fight for honours winning 7-3 at Rod and Line.
