The League's two pre-season tournaments have taken place.

The Trebles were at SWMC, with the winners emerging as SWMC B's Albert Harris, Dave Fairall and Dennis Briggs. They defeated SWMC A's Dave Callaghan, Bill Trott and Roger Knight in the final. There were three 180's on a high-scoring night, with Mike Fluhrer (Rodney) scoring two of the three and Larry Allmett of SWMC B taking the other.

The singles were held at the Rodney, with 37 entries. The champion for 1999 was Rodney A's Mike Fluhrer, who defeated Rodney B's Bob McCabe 2-1 in a very exciting final. The highlight scoring-wise was a 180 max from SWMC A's Dave Callaghan.
