Sticker 3 Liskeard Athletic 4 The rare site of Liskeard manager Martin Hodge coming on as a second half substitute epitomised the Blues' problems. Having travelled to Sticker with nine players unavailable, a casual supporter would not have known of Liskeard's plight as they raced into a three-goal lead in the first 25 minutes. Johnny Rylatt started the goal spree in the eighth minute when he blasted the ball past Sticker goalkeeper Chris Dowrick. Within 17 minutes, the luckless gloveman had picked the ball out of the back of the net two more times as Liskeard threatened to go on a goal rampage. After Sticker's Chris Kitson had a goal bound effort pushed onto the Liskeard bar, Rylatt doubled his tally, with Neil Webber, making a rare appearance after injury, scrambling in Liskeard's third. Sticker suddenly got into their stride and despite losing Richard Crapp with an injury, pulled a goal back through Ray Clarke. Another powerful effort from Rylett for his hat trick should have killed off the game at 4-1. But back came Sticker, with a Kitson goal and Clarke special reducing the score to 4-3. A close shave, but for Liskeard three valuable points. A breathless Hodge said: 'We had a few problems raising a team, but I'll settle for that result'
