Russell catches up on the latest news
Well known astrologer Russell Grant, who has been staying at Liskeard's Pencubitt Hotel during the Eclipse period, was in the town on Tuesday morning filming and researching for the third in the series of "Russell Grant's Postcards".
This time the popular programme will be going further afield and looking at Europe and the UK with a focus on the history of a place over the last 1,000 years.
Accompanied by fellow astrologer Martine Dellamere, Russell toured the Public Hall, Stuart House and St Martin's Parish Church, with the help of Mayor Roger Holmes, John Rapson and Tony Wood.
With a Cornish
mother hailing from Peverell in the St Ives area Russell said he has a great affinity with the county, and hopes to be able to include Liskeard in the series.
'I am interested in the changing history in the towns and parishes of the UK beginning with their origins of growth right up to the present day' he said.
