With an eye on their Plymouth Combination, Ellis Cup final build up Saltash gladly made up the visitors numbers as neighbours Liskeard sportingly filled in what had suddenly become a last minute blank weekend.
They looked in danger of running away with it from the start, running in tries from Rob Lee, Rick Grundy, Peter Copeland and Graham West (two), and John Nichols added three conversions for a 31-5 half time lead.
Liskeard kept their line intact after the break and have try scorers Tim Jackman and Anthony Bartlett, and penalty kicker Andrew Harris to thank for their points.
