Racquets (Torpoint) are competing in their first season in the Cornwall Super League. Unfortunately they have been drawn in the northern section which means much travelling. Their nearest rivals are White Hart, Menheniot.
Nonetheless they made a good start beating New Inn B from Kirkhampton 9-3.
They went 1-0 down in the team game; 2-1 up after the trebles, won two of the three doubles to lead 4-2.
In the singles Racquets won the first five but Dave Pacey was beaten in the last.
Terry Carey hit two maximums and an 18 darter. Dave Moore also hit two maximums.
