LISKEARD and Launceston were hit by road closures caused by accidents today.

In Liskeard, the St Cleer road near Tregay Lane was closed for around two hours following an accident.

And in Launceston, a stretch of the A388 between Exeter Street and Hurdon Road was closed for a similar reason.
