An accident on a road notorious for motorbike crashes has left a rider in hospital. The accident blackspot along Antony Road (A374), Torpoint was closed for two hours after a 1000cc motorbike was in a collision with a blue Ford Escort just after 7am yesterday near to the town's Esso garage. The man was taken to Derriford hospital. Carbeile Road was also closed and diversions were put in place.
