A 70s revival night and a walking treasure/ scavenger hunt are to be held in Liskeard to raise money for flood victims in Mozambique.

The Barley Sheaf, in Liskeard's Church Street, is to hold the revival night, complete with fancy dress and music from local band 'Full Tilt Boogie'. It will take place on April 22, which is Easter Saturday, and will be followed on April 23 by the walking treasure hunt, which will be combined with a scavenger hunt for children.

Prizes are to be given for the best or most amusing costume during the revival evening - although fancy dress is not obligatory - and Piers Thompson of St Austell Brewery has helped out by ensuring the company donates a mountain bike for a prize draw. The event will be ticket-only, at £2 per ticket, and due to seating capacity there will only be a limited number on sale.

The treasure/scavenger hunt will start at lpm from The Barley Sheaf.
