RESIDENTS have vowed to continue the fight to stop a massage parlour after they were informed that the matter would not be going to the High Court. Angry Caradon District councillors had originally planned to take Mark Evens' proposal for a massage parlour in Liskeard to the High Court after their unanimous decision to refuse planning was overturned by an independent adjudicator. However, because of the cost to tax-payers Caradon District Council has said that it will not be taking the matter further. Residents are now considering starting up a neighbourhood watch scheme to log any anti-social behaviour the new business might attract and resident David Berry is urging people to get involved. Caradon District Council were unavailable for comment.
