Plans for a 44-acre solar farm, which will be the first of its kind in the UK, have not got down well with residents living close to the proposed site.
The application, submitted by SunPower Corporation UK, could see more than 15,000 panels installed on green fields to the west of Callington at Haye Lane.
Dozens of residents attended a planning meeting of Callington Town Council on Tuesday evening to voice their objection to the plans which, they say, will ruin the countryside and devalue their homes.
