IN South East Cornwall, 39 per cent of workers earned less than the Living Wage in 2016. And 40 per cent of children in the Liskeard North ward live in poverty.

These are two of the statistics revealed in research carried out by the Cornwall Community Foundation, released this week.

The Vital Signs report says that deprivation and rural isolation are the two biggest issues facing Cornwall.
