BUSES will replace trains on two branch railway lines in South East Cornwall over the coming few days.
Buses will replace trains on each of the days except Sunday November 8, when no services will run.
The line will be shut, says GWR, while work is carried out to replace the decking on a bridge over the canal near the Looe end of the route.
Meanwhile, replacement buses will be running instead of trains on the Tamar Valley branch line between November 16 and 19.
Track renewal and bridge decking replacement work is set to be carried out between St Budeaux Victoria Road and Bere Ferrers. The work involves repairing infrastructure along the line to secure the safety of the track, says GWR.
Trains will continue to run on the mainline between Plymouth and St Budeaux Ferry Road, although services calling at Devonport, Dockyard and Keyham will be different to normal.
Replacement buses will run from Plymouth to Bere Ferrers/Bere Alston and Calstock/Gunnislake and journey times will be extended, GWR has warned.
