A two-minute silence was observed in the centre of Liskeard today, Armistice Day, at 11am to remember the fallen. Similar ceremonies were held across the district. 

The children of St Neot School walked to the village War Memorial and commemorated Remembrance Day with a minute’s silence. 

To commemorate Remembrance Sunday, First Kernow is providing free journeys to any armed forces personnel and veterans travelling to and from Remembrance services.
