AN EVENING of music, dance and drama to mark Remembrance 2017 will be held at Liskeard’s Public Hall on Saturday November 18.

The In Flanders Fields concert is being hosted by the Caradon Youth Choir, with guest soloists soprano Bianca Phillips, pianist Chris Howard and Iain Scullion on trumpet.

Also performing on the evening will be youngsters who are part of two new Liskeard-based ensembles: the Caradon Youth Theatre and Caradon Youth Dance groups.

The programme will include music by John Rutter, Josh Groan and Gary Barlow and will feature excerpts from Private Peaceful and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

Proceeds from the concert will support Help for Heroes; the event begins at 7pm.
