Liskeard's Relay for Life has been hailed a great success after smashing this year's fundraising target of £30,000 for Cancer Research UK.
More than 50 cancer survivors opened the event with a lap of honour around the track at Liskeard School and Community College.
Eighteen teams from all over South East Cornwall took part in the the non-stop 24 hour relay, which is in its third year.
