Shop staff in South East Cornwall helped cook up a recipe for charity fund-raising.

Baker Country Choice has released a limited-edition chicken fajita style pasty to raise money for the terminal illness charity, Marie Curie.

On sale until August in Spar shops including Callington, Bodmin, Saltash, Par, East Looe and West Looe, the recipe fought off stiff competition from more than 100 Spar employees who each submitted a creative, playful twist on the pasty.

For each of the pastys sold in SPAR, Country Choice will donate 5p to Marie Curie, which provides care and support to people living with terminal illnesses, and their loved ones.
