Organisers of the first Great Trethew Vintage Rally were delighted to present cheques to a raft of local good causes.
The three-day steam rally over the August Bank Holiday, held for the first time near Horningtops as a successor to the Morval Rally, exceeded the expectations of the organising team.
Speaking at the time, chairman Mike Elford said he had not been expecting to make a profit in the first year – and that he had been ‘absolutely overwhelmed’ by the success of the event.
