In the latest travel update, rail passengers are advised not to travel unless necessary into and out of Devon and Cornwall today.

The railway line between Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Davids has been severely damaged and Network Rail are not expecting to be able to complete repair work until Thursday (November 24). 

The Looe branch line remains closed. 

Replacement road transport is limited by the availability of vehicles and by potentially hazardous driving conditions in Devon.
