A GROUP of four students and two staff from Liskeard School and Community College have returned from a trip to Romania designed to link schools from all over Europe. Liskeard School has been involved in this project for a year, with the after-school Eurolab Club preparing for this visit. The students made a presentation about the school and the area and a DVD film. Both were very well received, with the partner schools adopting the video as a teaching aid back in their countries. 'It was a wonderful experience', said Marc Penrose, Eurolab co-ordinator, 'It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all of us. Romania is such a friendly country and the people are so welcoming.' The week-long trip was sponsored by the British Council as part of the Comenius scheme.
