A GROUP of students from Liskeard School and Community College will be heading to eastern Europe to talk on life in the county. A party from the school is set to leave today for Roman, a town in eastern Romania as part of a joint European project involving schools from eight other countries. The four Liskeard pupils are going to give a presentation about their school and show a film they have made about the school and the Liskeard area. 'This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our young people to see what life is like in the former eastern block country,' said Marc Penrose, the group leader and co-ordinator of the Comenius Project, sponsored by the British Council and the European Union.
