A pub landlady has spoken of her shock after she was beaten up and left unconscious by a group of young people.
Vicky Graham, 34, who runs the Decker pub in Looe with her husband, was walking home alone when she was assaulted in an unprovoked attack.
She said: 'I was walking alone after dropping a friend home.
'They were coming towards me, but didn't pose a threat but as I got closer they attacked me.'
The victim is waiting to hear if the sight in one of her eyes has been damaged after suffering serious injuries, which she was treated for at Derriford hospital, Plymouth.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning when Mrs Graham said she was 'jumped on' as she approached Fore Street along Shutta Road, East Looe.
She added: 'They didn't single me out, it would have been anyone walking where I was. I don't know how I got to where I live, but some people helped me.'
A 15 and 16-year-old girl were arrested by police as well as a 19-year-old woman and 22-year-old man. they have all been released on bail to return to Launceston police station on December 16.
Mrs Graham said: 'I'm quite worried now, just be aware, if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.'
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
