A grant of £4,000 towards the refurbishment of the pontoon at Saltash Waterside has been approved by the town council.

The money will come from the Section 106 funding associated with the creation of various supermarkets in the town.

The pontoon is set to be transferred into the hands of Saltash Town Council once work to repair it has been satisfactorily carried out by Cornwall Council contractors.
