The glitz and glamour of the Cornwall Air Ambulance Summer Ball saw more than 200 people party the night away to raise money for the charity.
The ball had a Cornish theme featuring tin mines and tartan placed throughout the airbase, with Cornish tartan adorning many of the ball-goers’ outfits.
This year’s ball celebrated 30 years of the charity saving lives throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Among the guests was airlifted patient William Rundle and Cornwall Air Ambulance’s first paramedic Paul Westaway.
An auction was held as part of the evening with items generously donated by supporters of the charity as well as local businesses.
Now all the donations have been received it has been revealed that £46,971.17 was raised for Cornwall Air Ambulance, demonstrating, said organisers, ’the fantastic generosity and support for the charity’.
