Cornwall Council is set to pocket £407,500 after selling five residential properties in Liskeard, Callington and Torpoint at auction.
The properties were among the West Country lots listed for sale by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Two-bedroom Greenaway Cottage in Fore Street, Pensilva, smashed its freehold guide by nearly £40,000 to sell for £81,500.
A first floor flat with two bedrooms at 7 and 8 Railway Crescent in Darite beat its freehold guide of £45,000 to £55,000 to sell for £68,000.
At 1 Moor View Terrace, Upton Cross, an end-terrace with three bedrooms beat the lower end of its freehold guide by £21,000 to sell for £86,000.
A three-bedroom house for updating with an extensive garden at 5 Newport Terrace in Callington beat the upper range of its freehold guide to sell for £82,000.
In Millbrook, near Torpoint, an end-terrace cottage with two bedrooms sold freehold at £90,000.
Starting at 11am, the eighth of Clive Emson Auctioneers’ eight regional West Country auctions in 2017 takes place at the St Mellion International Resort on Friday, December 15.
