Investigations into the theft of potentially-lethal weapons from secure storage at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, are continuing.
Police launched a 'full investigation' after six shotguns were stolen in a raid on the college.
Officers involved in the incident are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the burglary at the college.
A police spokesman said the guns were taken from a gun cabinet which was removed from a wall and carried to a location around 200m away from the scene. The cabinet door was then forced open and the shotguns were removed.
The spokesman said: 'Naturally we are concerned that shotguns have been stolen and there are now six unauthorised weapons in the hands of criminals. We have begun a full investigation and we are keen to locate these stolen items as quickly as possible.
Marked
'I would urge anyone who is approached with any similar items for sale, where the origin of the items cannot be clearly demonstrated, to contact us straightaway.' The guns are understood to consist of two Baikal models, a Lincoln, a Brno, a Sable and another by the Ideal Gun Co.
Several other items were also stolen, including 10 Dell laptops, a Canon digital camera and lenses and a number of other computers, all of which were security marked.
Police say the total value of the items taken was in the region of £4,500.
