Wilcove Warriors made sure that no team will take the league championship off them for at least another season.

They whitewashed the Kings A 9-0 this week with M Humphries, J Cook, R Pender, I Jenkins, A Arnold and B Sampson going straight through the singles card. Warriors then won all three doubles to complete a fine win which takes their lead to 21 points at the top of the table.

Mark of Friendship are doing their best to secure second place, having a great 8-1 home win over the Wilcove Hotshots. R Perrens, A Walker, A Kidd, D Dillon, J West and A Trigg were all singles winners for the Mark. Hotshots did win the first doubles through Chris Deacon and Tony Walsh only to lose the next two and the match 8-1.

Carbeile C still keep their place in third position in the table with a 5-4 away win at the Wheelers B. They led 4-2 after the singles through M Walkden, D Edwards, L Medlin and D Lorimer. Carbeile C then wrapped up the win with the first doubles. I Brown and G Nicholls won their singles for the Wheelers B.

200 Club A came out 6-3 victors at home to Millbrook FC with S Roche, K Davies, D Notman and N Davies all winning their singles for the 200 Club A, with G Davies and M White replying for the Millbrook FC. 200 Club A then took two of the three doubles for victory. K Davies and D Notman both had eight-ball clearances in their matches for the 200 A.

King Pins stay fourth in the table with a 5-4 home win over the 200 Club B. K Harris, N Miller, W Cooper were all victorious for the King Pins with P Ford, K Johnson and M Wilcocks replying for the 200 B. King Pins took the first two doubles and the match by 5-4.

Carbeile B move up to seventh in the table with a 5-4 home win over the Mosquito Sailing Club. L Carroll, P Byrne, A Hall and Gail Carroll were all singles winners for the Carbeile B. A Welch and Mick Miller replying for the Mosquito SC. Mosquito did level with the first two doubles only to lose the deciding doubles and the match on the night by 5-4.
