Carbeile C lost their unbeaten record and the leadership of the league going down 5-4 at Wilcove Hotshots. Hotshots were 4-2 ahead in the singles through Lee Fearnley, Gavin Bettinson, Paul Argrave and Jason Warne, with Tony Borthwick and Barry Foster replying. Hotshots took the all important doubles game to seal victory with the Carbeile C taking the other two doubles losing 5-4.

Wilcove Warriors regained top spot with an outstanding 8-1 victory at the 200 Club A. Only winner here for the 200 Club A was Karl Davies who beat Rod Pender 2-0. Warriors singles winners were R Stone, J Cook, B Bunston, A Arnold and B Sampson.

King Pins kept up their winning run when overcoming Wheelers B on the deciding doubles. Wayne Cooper, Kevin Harris and Mike Lyon won for the King Pins with I Brown, A Waters and L Clarkson replying. So all level after the singles then the Wheelers B led 4-3 only to lose the last two doubles and the match 5-4. Special mention here for Andy Miller and Naomi Miller who it must be noted both lost their singles matches. As they say practise makes perfect!

Mark of Friendship came out winners at the Carbeile 6-3 after leading 4-2 in the singles with wins from R Perrens, A Kidd, John West and D Dillon. John West having an eight ball clear up in his match. Mark also took the last two doubles for victory. Andy Hall also having an eight ball in his singles for the Carbeile B.

Kings A are third after a 6-3 home win over the 200 Club B. They took five of the six singles through I Canty, C Andrews, R Littman, R McCarthy and M Bright with Kevin Johnson the only singles winner for the 200 Club B, Kings A took the first doubles to lead 6-1 before the 200 B took the last two doubles to reduce the arrears.

Millbrook FC won their first match in the Torpoint League and moved off the bottom to tenth place in the table after beating the Mosquito Sailing Club 7-2. J Clarke, R Ryder, M Tamblin, M White and T White all singles winners here for the Millbrook side with Mick Miller replying for the Mosquito. Millbrook took the first two doubles to enjoy their first taste in victory in their first season in the league.
