MEMBERS of South East Cornwall Labour party said a quiz and curry night organised by the Liskeard branch last Saturday was particularly upbeat because of last week’s election win in Plymouth.

Secretary Lesley Carty said: ‘Many our South-East Cornwall Labour members were out canvassing over recent weeks, helping to turn Plymouth City Council red once more.’
