Campaigners are gathering at Polson Bridge, near Launceston, this morning to demonstrate against plans for a cross-border ’Devonwall’ Parliamentary constituency created from an electoral boundary review.

Protesters are due to hear speakers including Mebyon Kernow leader Dick Cole, Grand Bard Merv Davey and former North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson later this morning and early this afternoon.

It’s been organised by the campaign group Kernow Matters to Us, which says retaining its own Parliamentary constituencies is a key part of retaining Cornish identity.
