People in the Caradon Community Network area can quiz the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Office about their work and learn more about Young People Cornwall’s Your Way project for 11- to 19-year-olds at the Community Network Panel’s meeting on November 3.
Community development worker Ffion Stanton will be on hand to brief the Panel on the Your Way project.
There will also be local updates from Cornwall councillors, a chance for parishes to share their experiences of developing neighbourhood plans, and an opportunity for members of the public to speak.
Councillor Andrew Long, chair of Caradon Community Network Panel, said: ‘The meeting will include time for people to ask questions about local matters and share their views, plus a chance to meet Cornwall, town and parish councillors.’
Caradon Community Network Panel meets every two months to discuss matters that affect the local area and to agree priorities in including anti-social behaviour, economic development, the environment, community planning, regeneration, conservation, community safety, transport and highway issues.
Caradon’s panel includes all five Cornwall Councillors for the area and representatives of Callington, Calstock, Linkinhorne, Pillaton, South Hill, St Dominick, St Ive, St Mellion and Stoke Climsland.
The meeting takes place on Thursday, November 3 from 6.30pm to 9pm in the Council Chamber at Callington Town Council’s offices.
The agenda and more information about the panel are available on the panel page at www.cornwwall.gov.uk
