Police investigating a road traffic collision on the B5352 on Saturday, September 17 are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A Devon and Cornwall police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a red Hyundai I20 and a grey Citroen Picasso, on the B3252 junction with the B3251 Horning Tops, near Liskeard, at around 9.55am.

“An 83-year-old male passenger who was in the Hyundai sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Three other people sustained minor injuries.

“Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended to investigate and establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.

“The road was closed for several hours while a specialist examination took place and reopened at around 3.25pm.”

The police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage which may have captured either vehicle prior to the collision that could help the officers with their enquiries.
