Residents of a Liskeard street are unhappy they have to walk across town to place their vote in the General Election – despite a polling station being just a few doors away.
Residents living in even-numbered houses along Varley Lane will be able to place their vote on May 6 at the nearby Liskerrett Centre, however their neighbours living in the odd numbered cottages opposite will have to walk almost half a mile across town to St Martins Community Centre, Church Street.
