FOOD, fun and a fantastic live music line up are promised as Liskeard hosts its fifth Ploughman’s Festival.

The event today kicks off with a farmer’s market from 10am on The Parade.

Circus skills and performances, a ukulele workshop and for the first time, Cornish dancing through the town centre will be part of the morning’s entertainment on The Parade.

Performing at ‘The Busk Stop’ on the corner of Dean Street from 10am to 2pm will be Jimmy Appuduraichua, Charlie T Curtis, Rosie Ugalde and Tom Oldham.

Over in Westbourne Gardens, the music festival begins at 2pm.
