THE Sheriff of Sheviock and a cast of colourful characters will be bringing Cornish dimensions to a well-loved legend as the Polbathic Players present Robin Hood in Sconner Wood.
A cast of all ages as well as dedicated backstage crew have been involved in the production, the 39th to be staged by the local drama group.
This year’s pantomime is written and directed by Kim Byles, with musical director David Mashford.
Among the performers are young members of the village’s Youth Theatre.
With morris men, a witch and a sorceress and the obligatory Dame amongst the cast, the production promises raucous entertainment for all ages, say the Players.
The show will be performed at Polbathic Village Hall on January 26 and 27, and again on February 1, 2 and 3. All performances start at 7.30pm, with the exception of the Saturday show, which has been scheduled for 5pm with young children in mind.
