AT the end of the month, a fund-raising organisation will be holding a Proms-style concert in Saltash.

The planned performance of the Last Night of the Proms will be the 10th concert to be held in the town by the Sue Hooper Charitable Foundation.

Following previous sell-out concerts, the 100-strong Camborne Youth Brass Band will again be playing, directed by Bard Alan Pope, and will include some solo performances.

The concert will take place on Saturday, September 30, at Saltash Wesley Methodist Church at 7pm and tickets are available from shops in Saltash at £7 each.
