Looe’s Neighbourhood Planning team are asking local people to fill out a short survey on housing.
As much data as possible is needed to determine what sort of housing will be required in future in the town, say organisers.
Questions include are you paying too much rent? Is your house damp and difficult to heat? And what sites do you think could be built on in future?
‘We want to understand all the issues, so need some accurate data and evidence to help with our recommendations,’ said James Lundy of the Neighbourhood Plan Housing Group.
‘We’ve already collated data from estate agents and letting agencies and collated a list of local builders so we can glean their views.’
Find out about planning applications that affect you by visiting the Public Notice Portal.
Hard copies of the survey will be delivered in Looe over the coming weeks, but residents are encouraged to complete the survey online as this makes collating the results easier, says the team. Visit www.futurelooe.town and follow the link to the questionnaire.
