A document which will help shape future development, employment and leisure in Liskeard has been submitted by the town council for approval by Cornwall Council and an independent examiner.
The Liskeard Neighbourhood Plan will then be put to the people of the town to approve in a referendum later this year.
Once agreed by local people, the plan becomes a legal document and will be considered during future planning decisions.
The plan is the result of more than two years of work including extensive consultation with residents.
