An event tomorrow (Saturday) will give people in the parish of Dobwalls and Trewidland another chance to have their say on the future of the area.
The Neighbourhood Development Plan roadshow is the time for residents to give their views on what they want to see included in the plan.
The event will be held at the Memorial Hall. Families can enjoy free refreshments and children’s activities any time between 10am and 4pm, while taking a look at the roadshow exhibition, which includes interactive displays.
The roadshow will arrive in Trewidland next Saturday (September 29) in the village hall, again from 10am - 4pm.
Key issues already identified as priorities in the Neighbourhood Plan include the environment, community facilities, public transport, facilities for young people and residential development.
People in Dobwalls and Trewidland have already had the chance to comment on the future of the parish through three separate surveys. And they can still complete the latest survey online at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/dt-ndpsurvey.
The approved Neighbourhood Plan will have a significant standing when decision-makers vote on any proposals for changes and development in the parish.
