PUB chain JD Wetherspoon has applied for a licence for its new premises to be built in the centre of Liskeard. The company has made an application for permission to sell alcohol between 9am and midnight from Sundays to Thursdays, and from 9am until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. A late-night refreshment licence (permission to supply hot food or drink) is also being sought. The deadline for representations to be received by the licensing authority, Cornwall Council, was Tuesday, March 8.
